Curriculum Vitae Iram Shahzadi

Iram Shahzadi holds a Pharm.D. degree and an MPhil in Pharmaceutics from Pakistan. She completed her PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Innsbruck, where her research focused on oral lipid-based drug delivery systems. She subsequently gained research experience at the OrganLife Lab, Department of Visceral, Transplant and Thoracic Surgery, Medical University of Innsbruck, with expertise in high-resolution respirometry for assessing mitochondrial and cellular function, as well as molecular biology and cell culture techniques.

She joined the Institute of General Pathology at the Medical University of Innsbruck in September 2026, where she is currently involved in ongoing research projects. Her scientific background combines pharmaceutical sciences with experimental biomedical research.
