Curriculum Vitae Niloofar Nemati

Niloofar Nemati earned both her bachelor’s degree in biology and her master’s degree in Molecular Cell and Developmental Biology at the Leopold-Franzens-University (LFU) Innsbruck. For her doctoral studies (PhD), she moved to the Medical University of Innsbruck, where she joined the “Molecular and Cellular Basis of Diseases (MCBD)” program. She completed her PhD in September 2025 with highest honors (summa cum laude).

In October 2025, she joined the Institute of General Pathology as a Postdoctoral Fellow, where she assumed the role of laboratory manager while continuing her research. In addition to her involvement in several internal and external collaborative projects, her scientific focus and expertise lie in the generation and establishment of advanced cell culture-based 3D tumor models.
